One of the best songs ever is Tom Petty’s The Waiting (Is the Hardest Part).

If you’re like me, you’re waiting for the results of the American MidTerm elections with hope… and nervousness. This SNL skit sums it up pretty well.

Is America going to turn the ship around, or are we full steam ahead, into the iceberg? If so, how do we get the most vulnerable people into the lifeboats?

Not going to write a long blog post here. I don’t have the patience or concentration to write one, and you probably don’t have either to read one.

By the end of this week, we should know the direction we’re going, and making plans for what we have to do. Figuring out what the NEW “new normal” is going to look like, feel like.

In the meantime, let’s all practice self-care, and as much as possible, show kindness to others.

And if you haven’t already, make sure you VOTE. And VOTE BLUE.
